rules and regulations

FRASER
Rules and Regulations:
You will be expected to successfully complete reading and other assignments outside of class. Plus, you will have day-to day work
Cheating and/or plagiarism
Cheating and/or plagiarism of any kind will not be tolerated in any
form. It can and will result in a failing grade on that assignment. .
RUBRIC
A = 100-90(rubric 6): work is always perfect; applies critical analysis to all portions of work, research is completed to a higher level, demonstrates a positive work ethic, produces highest quality work on consistent basis.
B = 89-80(5): work is almost always perfect; applies critical analysis to almost all portions of work, research is completed to high level, almost always demonstrates a positive work ethic, produces high quality work on consistent basis.
C = 79-70(4): Some work is perfect; applies critical analysis to some portions of work, some research is completed to high level, demonstrates a positive work ethic and produces high quality work some of the time.
D = 69-60(3): work completed is low quality with errors and omissions; blatant disregard for class standards.
F = 59(2) and below: work is not completed to any acceptable standard; does not show criteria for determining quality and is seriously flawed.
ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR
A. You must be in your seat before the late bell rings.
B. All students are expected to conduct themselves in a mature and responsible manner (get started on work immediately upon entering the classroom---- no exceptions)
C. You must be well behaved.
D. Abstain from eating/drinking in class.
E. Forgo listening devices, cell phones, or IPODS(This means failing.)
F. No hats, hair combing, or similar manipulations.
II. YOUR GRADE CONSISTS OF:
A. Tests, quizzes, essays, and independent projects 50%
B. Classwork/Participaton (DO NOWS, group work, listening, handouts, everything being done in the class…) 30%
D. Homework 20%-
III MATERIALS
8 x 11 loose-leaf binder, Pens- standard blue or black ink, only. & a folder
